?️ Day 01: NJP / IXB – Phuentsholing (170 km | 4–5 hrs) Meet & greet upon arrival and drive to Phuentsholing – the gateway to Bhutan. Explore the peaceful Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a small temple surrounded by a lovely park. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing. ?️ Day 02: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (4–5 hrs) After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and head to the capital city, Thimphu. En route, enjoy scenic landscapes, waterfalls, and Himalayan villages. Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong and local markets. Overnight at Thimphu. ?️ Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing Explore Thimphu’s highlights including Buddha Dordenma, Changangkha Temple, Takin Preserve, Zilukha Nunnery, Traditional Art School, Textile Museum, and National Library. Optional short hike from Buddha Point to Changangkha Temple. Overnight at Thimphu. ?️ Day 04: Thimphu – Punakha (75 km | 2–3 hrs) Drive across the scenic Dochula Pass (3,080 m) offering panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yulley Chorten, and the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Overnight at Punakha. ?️ Day 05: Punakha – Trongsa – Bumthang Travel through central Bhutan, stopping at Trongsa Dzong and the Royal Heritage Museum (Ta Dzong). Continue to Bumthang, visiting Jamba Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, and Tamshing Monastery. Overnight at Bumthang. ?️ Day 06: Bumthang Exploration Explore the spiritual heartland of Bhutan with visits to Membar Tsho (Burning Lake), Ugyenchholing Palace Museum, and Bumthang Brewery. Witness the region’s charm — famous for honey, cheese, and woolen “Yathra.” Overnight in Bumthang. ?️ Day 07: Bumthang – Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley) Journey to the glacial Phobjikha Valley, home to the endangered black-necked cranes. Visit Gangtey Gompa, stroll through nature trails, and explore traditional villages. Overnight at Gangtey. ?️ Day 08: Gangtey – Punakha – Thimphu – Paro (120 km | 4 hrs) Drive back to Paro via Thimphu, stopping en route at Lungchutse Monastery and the Royal Botanical Park for short hikes and scenic views. Overnight at Paro. ?️ Day 09: Paro Valley Tour Visit Chele La Pass and Kila Gompa Nunnery, followed by sightseeing of Rinpung Dzong, National Museum, Kichu Lhakhang, and Dungtse Lhakhang. Enjoy a leisurely evening in Paro town. Overnight at Paro. ?️ Day 10: Paro – Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery A full-day excursion to Bhutan’s most iconic site, Taktsang Monastery, perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor. Pony ride available for uphill. Return for farewell dinner. Overnight at Paro. ?️ Day 11: Paro – Phuentsholing (5 hrs) Drive back to Phuentsholing, visiting Kharbandi/Rinchending Gompa, a scenic monastery offering sweeping views of the plains. Overnight at Phuentsholing. ?️ Day 12: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra / NJP (5–6 hrs) After early breakfast, depart for Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Bhutan.
