Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Drive to Thimphu
Your flight to Bhutan unfolds breathtaking aerial views of the mighty Himalayas. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to Thimphu, the charming capital city of Bhutan. En route, enjoy the tranquil countryside and fresh mountain air.
Later, visit Memorial Chorten, built in honor of Bhutan’s third king, and the majestic Trashi Chodzong, the seat of the government and monastic body.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, explore Thimphu’s top attractions — from the world’s tallest sitting Buddha at Buddha Dordenma to ancient temples like Changangkha Lhakhang. Visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, and the serene Zilukha Nunnery overlooking Thimphu Valley.
Discover Bhutan’s traditional artistry at the Painting School (Zorig Chusum Institute) and the Textile Museum, followed by a visit to the National Library and Traditional Medicine Hospital, where age-old healing methods are still practiced.
End your day watching Bhutan’s national sport, archery, at Changlimithang Stadium.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha (via Dochula Pass)
After breakfast, drive to Punakha, crossing the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,080m), offering panoramic views of the snow-covered eastern Himalayas.
In Punakha, visit the stunning Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, built to promote world peace, and the magnificent Punakha Dzong, the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan, located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Walk across the scenic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of Bhutan’s longest.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro (via Dochula Pass)
After breakfast, return to Paro, retracing the scenic drive across Dochula. On the way, visit the Chimi Lhakhang, known as the Temple of Fertility, believed to bless childless couples.
Upon reaching Paro, enjoy visits to the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and the Rinpung Dzong, a fortress renowned for its brilliant architecture. Explore Paro Town, where you can shop for authentic Bhutanese handicrafts and textiles.

Day 5: Paro – Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
A spiritual highlight of your journey awaits as you hike to Taktsang Monastery, Bhutan’s most sacred temple dramatically perched on a cliff 900m above the Paro Valley. The 2–3 hour trek offers stunning views and deep spiritual immersion.
Alternatively, you may visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, or enjoy an excursion to the scenic Haa Valley via Chele-La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan.

Day 6: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s serene landscapes, rich traditions, and heartfelt hospitality.
